Aluminum Composite Panels by Posterflow
I hadn’t seen any other reviews for these aluminum prints so I took a chance and ordered the 16.5″ x 11.7″ variant. The order was placed the evening of May 23rd, and produced very quickly the morning after. As Posterflow is based in Germany, it took a while to get through customs, but they first attempted delivery June 5th.
The print arrived in a slim cardboard box, wrapped in a layer of bubble wrap. It seemed reasonably protective, though I did notice a small nick in the bottom left corner of the print, though that might have happened before shipping.
I’d give the print quality a 9/10. The colors were vivid and details were captured perfectly, but I did notice a small blemish where it looks like some thread got caught during the printing process. I think my photo was rendered beautifully overall.
Now for the big, glaring issue: though the picture is intended to be oriented in landscape as shown in picture 1, Posterflow installed the mounting hardware so it can only be hung in portrait, rendering it unusable. I was able to request a reprint because of this yesterday that quickly shipped out today, but this does make me hesitant about offering this to customers through my Etsy shop.
