2. What these terms do
These Terms of Service set out the rules for using the Site and any services, pages, tools, feeds, or emails we provide through it (the Services). By accessing or using the Services you accept these terms and our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.
3. Who may use the Services
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter a binding contract. You must use the Services in compliance with all applicable laws.
4. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The updated version will apply from the date it is posted on the Site. If changes are material, we will try to provide reasonable notice, for example by updating the Effective date or posting a notice on the Site.

You grant us a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, adapt, publish, translate, create derivative summaries, display, distribute, and otherwise use your User Content in connection with the Services, including for promotion and to comply with legal obligations.
c. Representations. You confirm that your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge, is your own or you have permission to post it, and does not infringe any third-party rights.
d. Moderation. We may edit, refuse, or remove User Content at our discretion. We are not obliged to monitor all content but may do so to manage risk, improve quality, and comply with law.
e. Review guidelines. Keep reviews factual, relevant, and based on your own experience. Do not include personal data about another person unless you have their explicit consent. No hate speech, harassment, or illegal content.
7. Third-party reviews and sourced materials
We compile and summarise information and opinions from third-party sources, including public websites and online communities. We do not claim ownership of third-party content and use it under fair dealing, fair use, licence, or with permission where applicable. If you believe material on the Site infringes your rights or is unlawful, please use the Notice and Takedown process in section 15.
8. AI summaries and automated outputs
We may use automated systems to generate summaries, ratings, tags, and insights based on available content. Automated outputs can be inaccurate or incomplete. They are provided for information only and should not be the sole basis for decisions. We may revise or remove automated outputs at any time.
9. Independence and affiliate disclosures
We may include affiliate links and may earn a commission if you purchase through those links. Compensation does not influence the inclusion or ranking of providers. We aim to label affiliate links clearly. Advertising and sponsored content, if any, will be identified.

d. Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Services, including ratings and summaries, without our written consent. Public search engines may crawl for the sole purpose of creating publicly available searchable indices.
e. Use the Services to create a competing database or service.
13. Intellectual property
The Services, including our databases, selection, arrangement, design, and original text, are owned by us or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Except as allowed by law or as expressly permitted by these terms, you may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Services. You may view pages and make personal, non-commercial copies for your own use.

If you send us ideas or suggestions, you grant us a free, perpetual licence to use them without obligation to you.
15. Notice and Takedown, including copyright

We will review and respond in a reasonable time. For US copyright owners, you may also send a DMCA-style notice to the same address. We may contact the uploader or the subject of the content, and we may restore content if we receive a counter-notice that appears valid.

17. Availability and changes

19. Limitation of liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or fraudulent misrepresentation. Subject to that, we will not be liable for any loss of profits, revenue, data, goodwill, or for any indirect or consequential loss. Our total liability for any claims arising out of or in connection with the Services is limited to the greater of GBP 100 or the amount you paid to us in the 6 months before the claim arose.
20. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, damages, liabilities, costs, and expenses that arise from your use of the Services, your User Content, or your breach of these terms.
21. Governing law and venue
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from or relating to these terms or the Services.
