Review:
I decided to get a sun shade because the one I had I used til the wheels fell off lol. I was like “well I could get a custom one and also see what the quality looks like” two birds one stone type of deal. This won’t be sold nor do I plan on selling this item in general. I was just curious and wanted to get a sample just because and decided to make a funny one. I think it’s up in the air quality-wise in regard to if the customer would be satisfied with it along with the sizing of it is a little iffy since it’s slightly bigger than expected. Obviously if you include photos/videos then it’s up to the customer to decide if they’re okay with how it’s constructed and such, but I’m like not sure if I would sell it if I actually decided to lol.
What I thought the material would be that it was printed on is not what I expected, but I’m not mad at all about it. It did get here quicker than I expected as well. I get my mail sent to a private UPS mailbox and they told me they didn’t recognize the mailing provider who delivered the package as well. I also attached how the label looked when I got it.
The size of it is slightly bigger than my windshield width wise but I’d rather it be too big than too small. It also seems durable with the way the item is constructed. I’m not sure how long the print will hold up especially in the sun and such since I haven’t had it long & in the sun, but it seems like it would last awhile (esp. for the price point). It also came with suction thingies for the shade.
Overall, I would buy this again for just myself once this one starts to kick the bucket.

I needed a new small purse so chose to sample the Artsadd small shoulder bag. I got an altered version of one of my older popular designs I created several years ago. I layered it, changed the background to a darker dustier tone from a very faded almost white bg, and had wanted to see how it printed generally.
• This purse is more like a satchel, as it is very narrow and flat a compartment, which I’m fine with, but worth mentioning in your listings.
• Order created Oct 24th and delivered today Nov 6th by Canada Post – no customs fees or brokerage fees were owed by me (it appears on the label that a customs broker brokered it through the border, maybe Artsadd has one).
• Though it seems well constructed, I feel it gives off a bit of a cheap discount product vibe, so I am unsure if I would want to offer this in my shop with my designs being represented on it.
• Shipping to Canada was inexpensive, $3.60.
• The material has a slight textured vinyl feel with a slight sheen. The black piping is glossy, slight textured vinyl look and feel.
• Gold toned hardware is good quality, time will tell on that and any stitching.
• Inside lining is nice, pockets decent and handy
• Print was dead on 999.9999% to my artwork file colours and values
• Came with a sealed paper envelope with some sort of dried botanical seed like items, which I am going to assume absorb scent or moisture? See the cut open pic.
Overall, a tiny bit disappointed in this satchel purse as the diaper bag was superb quality! I will use mine but I’m iffy on selling these as buyers may not like where they ship from coupled with possible low cheap quality first impressions that some may end up with.
The satchel of dried botanical seed matter I feel also could potentially alarm some buyers.
So, 3 1/2 stars out of 5 if I’m honest.

Unisex Hooded Blanket by ArtsAdd

Shipping: It arrived in a clear bag inside of a poly mailer bag. My company name was not on the return label, but an address in California. Just said Jerry, no fulfillment center or anything like that. Unfortunately it does ship frm China, so it might take longer than expected to arrive.
Pros: I think the quality is great! It is lightweight but very warm. I think it’s the right amount of thickness, not too thick or too thin. The material feels like a velour on the outisde. I love how the print turned out. Very bright and crisp (with the exception of the one side of the hood that I think was a printing error).
Cons: The right side of the Hooded printed differently then the left, with one side looking like the image is stretched and the other normal. This might be an issue for a customer considering how much they would have paid, but I don’t think my son will notice. The other downside is that these are still in the early access section, so there are no mockups for them.
Pictures: These were taken by my window for natural lighting. I included pics of me wearing it. For reference, I’m 5′,6″ and usually wear a women’s size large. I also added pics of the hood design in printify and how it looks printed to see the stretching problem on the right side.
Overall I love this Hooded blanket! I made this for my son, so I opted for the Unisex option instead of the women’s Hooded blanket. After wearing it, I definitely would have ordered the women’s if it were for me, but it is really personal preference on how big and baggy you want it. My only concerns about offering this in my shop is the price point I’d have to list it at to be profitable.

Overall I am very satisfied with the umbrella. It doesn’t lock into place but I think most pop up umbrellas are like that and this one has a very strong tension when it pops open, which I think will hold up well.
Of course I can’t do anything easy and I challenged myself to a design that was not easy to create because the template given does not match the template on Printify. So I had to redesign this so many times that I forgot to take off the template in the final design. However I am grateful I did so you can see how far off it is if you want to design something very different. I wanted alternating panels that aligned with the spokes and the template on Printify is more accurate for that. Had I just used the given template, the panels would not have aligned with the spokes and it would have looked off when opened.
UPDATE: You want to slightly overlap your design so the sewn parts are not right on the spoke, just closer to the spokes. The current template goes over too far
Fortunately for me I have Photoshop and I am in the middle of editing the pictures that show the dotted lines. Some of the pictures shown are edited and you can’t tell the difference.
I did saturate my colors so it printed up nice and bold. I want to thank those that reviewed their umbrella that didn’t do so and advised others to do so to get a better print because it worked.
It did not have my shop name on the label however it was well wrapped and overall it feels very sturdy. It is also quite large which is nice. It is an item I can sell with confidence.
I just hope people are willing to wait for a longer shipping time.
Thank you Printify for giving me something cool I can resell. Just please provide us with the template you have online vs the one given, and perhaps a template of an individual panel so it can open the possibilities to many more designs and not just one overall design.

Semi-automatic Foldable Umbrella
Overall the product is of very good quality, the release is very smooth, no tears on the canopy, no bent arms. Pleasantly surprised that the umbrella comes with a cover that matches the gradient print of the umbrella.
The umbrella doesn’t appear to lock in place when fully expanded? although does seem sturdy enough, time will tell whether it is sufficient on a windy day!
The handle is comfortable, although a bit small, I don’t have large hands and it JUST fits in my hand. It also feels a very soft material that I’m unsure if it will withstand regular usage.
The end cap at the top of the umbrella seems a good quality plastic, however the material that is fitted underneath it appears to have partly been sewn tucked underneath it (photo 4). Unsure if this will affect the performance, only a test in the rain will answer this, today being the perfect day as it’s raining heavily here today in Scotland
Packaging
Product was very well packaged inside a cardboard box the perfect size for it. The umbrella itself was wrapped in plenty of bubble wrap (photo 1), and there was a piece of foam packaging taped just above the handle (photo 2) keeping the ends of the arms in place.
Print Quality
Having read another reviewer who felt that the print was a bit too light, I opted for the black background colour, which I think is a must for this product. The print colours came out exactly as I wanted, a white background will leave any colours washed out. The gradient colours came out really well (photo 3), the only issue appears to be my logo which isn’t crisp (photo 5), although this might be down to the quality of my image on such a large scale.
Delivery
I ordered the umbrella here in the UK on 1st of August and just been delivered today 16th August. Considering this has came from China I am well impressed with the speed of delivery!
Overall this is a brilliant product, however I doubt I will list it for sale as it doesn’t really fit in with my niche, although this was purchase for my own personal use as an advertising aid.

15 days total for a custom item from China is reasonable.
The shipping box was pretty beat up, which should be expected for the journey it’s been on. But the interior packaging was excellent and the contents were not impacted at all.
The design came out beautifully! Not quite as vibrant jewel-toned as my upload, but it’s a sheer fabric with light coming through it, so I’ll give that a pass. (Perhaps you’ll want to design more vibrantly to accommodate this.)
The mechanism works flawlessly, I activated it 10 times to be sure. Feels lightweight but not cheap, with a comfortable hand grip.
I’ll definitely be selling these in my pop-up store as soon as mock-ups are available.

Men’s Hawaiian Shirt (AOP) ArtsAdd (China)
Size large.
His take:
He wears a large for his shoulders, but he’s a skinny dude, so it’s generous. He loves the comfort and fit of the shirt, as well as the feel of the material. Says he felt cool out in the hot sun, at a party, we went to, and he felt super cool sporting the shirt. Tons of positive comments/compliments.
Now onto my piece:
It was ordered on 4/30 and received on 5/17. It was in production until 5/6. So if you plan on using this item in your shop, it probably would be a good idea to explain that shipping will take longer and make sure that you have your production time set correctly, to protect yourself from getting zinged for the long shipping time.
The print has an error (my error- I missed something on the pattern which created a line- but the pattern plus the different sections on the shirt means the shirt is forgiving and didn’t call out the issue).

Ordered 2/11, shipped 2/19, received 2/27. There was a delay in production due to Chinese New Year’s.
Positives: the colors are amazing!! I chose a dark gray background color directly on Printify and added simple design of ladybugs. The gray made the ladybugs pop! I bought this as a carry on for my laptop and cords and my laptop fits perfect. Bag seems durable and straps are adjustable with buckles which is a plus! Has zipper for main enclosure as well as inside zippered pocket. Includes a few other inside pockets that are not zippered.
Negative: main zipper does not cover entire bag so there are gaps on both sides of it. I wouldn’t have loose small items (lipstick, pens, etc) in it since they could fall out if bag on side or gets knocked over. Inside lining is very loose. Sides appear crushed. Bag arrived inside a felt bag inside a mailing bag. Also seam appears off along bottom. Not sure if I should notify Printify about issue.
Overall, pretty happy with bag as it will suit my needs as a carry on bag for travel. I wanted something I could stow under seat. The material will wipe off easily as well.

ArtsAdd Multifunction Backpack Diaper Bag
Overall, I am extremely pleased with the bag. I feel my design could have been a bit better with regard to the font selection and text, but the bag itself and the quality is great.
I was asked to design a custom bag for a friend who is an amputee, having lost her left arm during her military service. She is the current youth pastor of her church and has been selected as the Associate Pastor of the entire congregation and needed something easy for her to carry and use to organize her pastoral items. She needed lots of pockets that were easily accessible to organize things like pens and a large compartment that would close completely for her tablet and other items so together we chose the multipurpose diaper bag.
The bag was ordered on October 24, shipped on October 27, and arrived to me in the US on November 4. My only complaint about shipping was not being able to accurately track where the item was and its estimated delivery. That could be due to me being unfamiliar with ArtsAdd tracking system, but I found it to be frustrating.
The bag arrived in a poly mailer and was inside a more fabric type bag inside that to help protect it.
The bag itself is large and a nice size. Materials feel sturdy and durable on the outside. Inside is a thinner material but still appears sturdy.
The print is nice. It looks great and is true to the design I created for her.
I would give a solid 4 1/2 rating, deducting a small amount for the frustrating package tracking. As a US consumer I was disappointed that the tracking link led to a website in Chinese that I could not understand and when I was able to finally copy and paste the tracking information all I received was “unknown” the entire time.
I will be delivering her bag today. I hope she loves it as much as she did the mock-ups I sent her.

First, the print is amazing and the black trim is a really nice touch. This makes it feel more like a premium product.
I liked the packaging too, it came in this thick plastic resealable bag. The shipping time wasn’t horrid, considering it came from China, but as we get closer to Christmas cut-off dates it’s something to keep an eye on. There aren’t any tags on it, not even a “Made in China” or a care instructions tag.
The description says it comes in two sizes but I only see the 50×40 listed. This is tiny! It’s way too small for me and I think it would be too small for anyone, including teens, except for a child. I don’t have a child on hand to model it but it’s small. I don’t think I’ll add to my shop but this would be great for people who specialize in kid’s apparel.
The price is a bit steep but with the right design this would be really cute for kids. I wish I would have sampled the Snuggle Blanket from Subliminator but I didn’t see it when I picked this.
I only gave it 4 stars because of the size. In the Printify mockups it’s showing an adult male. If the larger size was recently removed, the mockups should be updated to someone this would actually fit.

Price
It’s a little up there, which makes it hard to price it competitively in my shop, but for an AOP that has to be sewn together just for me with my own pattern, I can mostly understand that.
Quality
Material is pretty thick, I was expecting thinner. Seems durable and sewn well. I gave it a star off though because it comes with this hideous patterned tag that just says “men” on it and makes it looks super cheap (especially since there’s no women’s option, so I was trying to market this as unisex). Also the buttons were supposed to be “black” but they were more of a turtle-shell brown.
Shipping Time
The only option for this shirt was from China, which I was wary about but decided to give it a try anyway. I ordered this on September 28th and received it October 11th. Two weeks total, which isn’t THAT bad, except that I also took a risk and put this in my shop and a customer happened to order it on the same day I ordered my sample, but theirs took an additional 4 days for no apparent reason. Customer service from Printify was fine, but they had to contact the foreign printing partner, who gave no explanation, just said it was “still on its way.” Eighteen days is too long.
Print Quality
Bright, clear, and sharp. More true to monitor/RBG color than I expected. No complaints!
Packaging / Arrival Condition
Regular mailer, with shirt inside an additional plastic zipper pouch for protection.
Overall Impression
The shirt itself was great except the ugly tag makes it hard for me to sell, especially since the majority of my customers are female. Plus the shipping time and the distance of the printing partner makes me too anxious to sell this in my shop.

Artsadd Polyester Blanket.
Love this blanket, feels like a polar fleece type fabric and is soft. Its thin but dense with some weight to it & surprisingly warm. . Ideal for camping, picnic, beach & it says it’s water absorbant so could probably be used as a towel in a pinch.
Print is awesome & details sharp. black trim looks smart too. Took 13 days from order to delivery to Perth Western Australia (from China).
