    Bella+Canvas 3001 Natural M by Monster Digital

    Cost $12.16 (incl custom neck tag) + $3.99 Economy shipping
    (All my orders have Standard shipping as default so I didn’t pay attention to shipping option while making that sample order and it was sent with Economy shipping. Don’t recommend it at all – super long shipping time, .50 cent economy isn’t worth it)

    I live in Ukraine so for me it took 1 week more to get my parcel from the US. While I was waiting for my sample order I’ve ordered CC1717 Pepper from Amazon to see what everyone is crazy about (I’ve also ordered a lot of stuff from the US so I couldn’t pay more that 7$ to be in line with import tax, that’s why I didn’t get CC1717 with design). So beside the #productreview I’ll be comparing those shirts. Both are size M.
    *as found out today print is misaligned – it’s to high and too close to the collar

    BC 3001 Shirt
    + Shirt is soft and feels great
    + Fits good
    – It’s too long for me
    – See Through (for Natural color it is obvious)

    Design
    + Don’t feel it at all
    – Black color is kind of faded because of small light cotton hairs
    – Misaligned – higher than expected (too close to the collar)
    Would love to hear from you how close to collar should design area start both for BC3001 and CC1717 from your experience
    **UPD: Reached out to Printify customer support and they’ve confirmed that it was MD’s error (design area is supposed to be 2″ from the collar line) )but because the order was delivered more than 30 days ago it’s out of timeframe for issue handling (missed 2 days, lol)

    Neck tag
    + not that see through
    – it is printed with white underbase and because of thin lines you can clearly see that underbase (would recommend only for white tags)

    BC3001 vs CC1717 (Pepper color)
    CC1717 is shorter and fits better in terms of length. CC1717 color is much tighter than BC3001’s – I’ve never had shirts with a collar this close to my neck. CC1717’s fabric is nice, with tighter threads, a little less soft than BC3001

    Unisex Jersey Tank – charcoal black tri-blend size M. It is fulfilled by Monster Digital, dtg.
    It’s roomy, loose, especially under the arms. I possibly could have gotten a S but I expected the M to fit roomy anyway, cool and flowy for Summer. Ladies may want to wear a bandeaux top, another thin tank, a swimsuit top, etc., under it.
    The print is fab, very very true to my design’s colours and no white underlayer visible which is surprising as there is usually at least a smidge showing normally.
    This design is my rustic Canada flag that I did back in about 2016, which for this tank order I cropped to be a heart shape. It printed in a good spot, not too low, I did place my design right at the very top of the bounding box on the template for printing.
    All in all, great!

    I will start by saying that I don’t use Monster Digital that often. I have a handful that route to them. So when I ordered this, I expected it to be shipped like others by USPS. Unfortunately, DHL took the item, and it took forever to get here from Texas, and I’m in NC. It could be because of the weight (2 lbs.) of the poly bag the reason it goes to DHL first.
    The shirts themselves came out great. As you can see, they are just black and white prints on the shirts for me and my friends. I haven’t washed them, but will report back with updates when we do. I have asked each of them to wash as normal to give me an update. I would use them for 1 to 3 shirts, but for large orders, NO!

    The print came out great on all but 2 of the 6 shirts, the 2 mediums. One had a print discoloration, and both were not printed at the same distance from the collar. Again, this 2.7 lb. package was shipped via DHL. None of the 1 shirt orders process are shipped by MD this way they always go straight to USPS. This order was placed after the BC order, and this got to me first. I reached out to chat support on both orders and got a refund on shipping for the BC3001 order and a refund for the medium shirts. It was too late to get a reprint as we are leaving this week! Overall, I will continue to use SwiftPOD as my main printer and MD as a backup, and if any issues arise deal with them as they come.

    I used the same pattern on 3 items. The mug is very vibrant and clear. Spoke printed the mug. MonSter Digital did the other item. The hat is good, a little less vibrant. The tote bag is in between on the sharpness. I used a PNG file. I assume the smaller the item the better the sharpness with a PNG file and the substrate used My Etsy shop has been on hold for some months. I want to specialize in patterns as my niche. Any advice would be appreciated.

    I have to shout-out to Dimona Tee. I made a shirt for my nephew for his birthday. It came out really cute. I didn’t get a picture in person but I’m showing the picture that was sent to me vs the mock up. The colors look just like the mockup. It came out great.
    I also made a shirt for myself because we share the same birthday. What a blessing.
    So of course, I also have to shout out to Monster Digital. Both providers did a great job. In the pictures I’m comparing mock-up to actual product. It’s very similar except for the music note color I choose, but that’s ok.
    The only thing I will say is, I’m not impressed with the Gildan 64000L. It’s the women’s soft style tee. It wasn’t that soft and it was really tight. I ordered an XL but it fit like a L. I was thinking of getting a looser shirt and I should have. Oh well. Live and learn.

    Comfort colors 1566 embroidery by Monster Digital
    I am beyond excited about the quality of this order by Monster Digital. I had a few ups and downs getting a design through digitization. My original design is still awaiting feedback on what is causing the error and how to fix, but I’ve given up on ever receiving that. This new design passed without any issues. The stitching is perfect and exactly as designed. I can’t wait to wear this on Thanksgiving next week. Unfortunately, it’s too late to list it in my shop this year.

    Since we’ve been seeing a ton of negative reviews on the printing quality of T-shirts, I just want to share my positive feedback and let you know that I’m super happy with my two shirts from Monster Digital!
    My whites are white; my blacks are pretty black; details are clean and crisp; and I’m assuming the printer didn’t have to apply a (visible) base coat as my shirts are light? IF they did apply a base coat, it’s not visible! I’m also pleased with the size of the artwork on both the Small and Large.
    Small: artwork was 15” wide; I filled the entire print area. (I have created one Gildan 64000 product in just the Small & Medium and unchecked the larger sizes on Printify.)
    Large: artwork was 12” wide; I scaled down the artwork to avoid a massive difference between the two sizes. (I have created a separate Gildan 64000 product in Large–3XL and unchecked S-M on Printify.)
    The negative reviews honestly put me off from designing and listing more shirts
    , but I’m glad I gave it another chance!

    The Good
    The quality and feel of the shirt feels really comfy and soft.

    The Bad
    The lenght of the shirt is a tad long for a female, but it seems like that is the standard length.

    Even after ironing the shirt and steaming it, there are still wrinkles which are hard to remove.

    The print lookswashed out/dull as compared to the Printy generator mockup in CMYK, see last picture, but it is less washed out than what Fulfill Engine printed on a white Oversized AS Color 5080.

    This is my first product review. I wish I could say this is the first problem I’ve had with the print quality but it isn’t. I know it’s a long post but I think the details are important.
    Honestly, the idea of selling any clothing using POD gives me a lot of anxiety. I’m shocked not only at my experience but looking at all the negative experiences on here. It has me reconsidering selling apparel at all which sucks. Yes, I realize there are adjustments you can make for a print to turn out better, I didn’t realize I should have put 2 layers of color for the white to show up. If they do such a crappy job at printing in general, in the instructions somewhere it should say, make sure to use double ink, etc.
    *Review. I made a Gildan Zipper Hoodie 18600 from Monster Digital. Ordered it Nov 13th, shipped on the 14th and delivered on the 20th. Very happy with that process. Great job, Monster Digital.
    I wanted to see what 2 different designs would look like on the blue hoodie. I made this for me (thank goodness) otherwise I’m sure the customer would be disappointed.
    There was a hole in the packaging but no damage on the hoodie.
    The USA letters are supposed to be red, clearly they don’t look red. Although I chose a whethered looking flag to use the overall color is horrible. I realize in the preview mode it’s not going to look exact but I can’t believe how horrible it looks. On the other design all the colors are off. Both designs you can see through it, meaning it’s not a solid looking even ink covering it. Also, there is piling which I’ve read a lot of reviews here and they say it’s normal.
    Printify was wonderful as far as refunding the money. When I told the agent I was nervous to even list any of these hoodies she told me there was a manufacturing problem. When I inquired what the problem was she wouldn’t answer specifically, just that it was a manufacturing problem. I asked if I should wait to sell them in my shop she said no. Rest assured she said, this does not always happen and I should list them. If I didn’t feel confident with that supplier use a different one.
    What that says to me is, sorry this vendor did such a crappy job however, just keep switching and doing samples until you find someone that can actually print a good design.
    I don’t know why the bar is set so low for the vendors they use. All day long I see negative reviews and problems with the printing. Whether it’s shirts, hoodies, etc. I guess we’re supposed to just keep on trying and spending money and hope that we can sell good products? Right now, the confidence I have in POD apparel is at the bottom. I just took an order for 5 shirts and it honestly has me on pins and needles wondering if there are going to be problems. I’m new to the POD world but if I’m really disappointed so far in the quality.

    I had posted a review and my disappointment with Monster digital after receiving a sample. Please see below: on the left upper is the new shirt with the dark vibrant letters vs the one I initially received below. On the right upper: the new sample I received vs my initial sample. I contacted Printify the very next day after receiving the first sample. The very next day my new sample was shipped and I am VERY pleased with the results. I will definitely continue to use Monster digital !

    So I ordered a couple of samples on Oct 10th. This is a Bella+Canvas 3001 in Asphalt from Monster Digital
    I wanted to see what some of the colors on my current designs would look like on the shirt, so I made a huge color grid.
    The shirt is so soft on the inside. Because I printed in the whole area, the front is a little stiff and a tad scratchy. That may change as it’s washed. The colors are great. I use a lot of pastel colors and wasn’t sure how they would look on this color shirt.
    I chose a size large since that’s what size I wear in men’s it fits as I expected and the print area is about 2 fingers from the armpits and neck.
    My neck label printed well. I used thin lines to see how they would look. I have decided to change the neck label to fit better, but it wasn’t terrible.
    My insert was nice. It’s card stock. Color printed good.
    Package was a small thin bag. It arrived later than scheduled but that was a USPS issue. It arrived right at the 10 business day mark.
