I’m so glad I ordered a sample of these stickers before jumping into selling them!
Every time I order samples, I find something I want to tweak—usually sizing or placement.
First off, these stickers came out sooooo tiny compared to the mock-up.
Definitely not the size I had in mind. The words i can’t even read they are so tiny. Mockup 2nd photo. The icons are about the size of a ladybug. The words are the size of my fingernail.
Product Info:
11″ × 8.5″ / White / Die-Cut
6″ × 4″ / Transparent / Die-Cut
Printed in the U.S. by Printed Simply
The quality is solid
, and the die cut edges are clean and precise
, so I’m happy with that! However, these will need major adjustments before they’re ready to sell.
Now, let’s talk about shipping.
Ordered: Dec 19
Received: Dec 28
Not bad for holiday shipping, BUT the cost? $6.64 to ship a single piece of paper in a basic envelope.
Overall, this sample was super helpful.
I’d rather make edits now than end up with something that isn’t perfect.
I give it
because with shipping this sample for me was $20, and would retail for $30!! So not something I feel is worth that.
Ordered Oct 31st, Delivered Nov 14th to me in Canada
I use these for including in my customer’s orders for my handmade clay shop, I cut out 1 sticker on the sheet to add into my packaging as a little gift.
I am always looking for the best place to order them from and these ones are likely my favourites now though a little pricier than my previous ones from somewhere else, but better quality. It’s a business expense so that’s fine.
I put as many on a sheet as I can without them being too small, these are a perfect size, not too small and not too big and I fit 8 per sheet and they’re all around 2-3in in size each.
They arrived just loose in a cardboard mailing envelope.
They are clear and perfect prints and cut out shapes with a bit of a white border (I chose the white border option) and they sit On top of the sheet. The sheet paper surface itself does have a slight velvety tack feel so it does collect little flecks and specks, like the tiny cardboard flecks from the envelope, or anything it may catch from the air or surfaces like a table top. This means I needed to clean off a few specks stuck to that paper surface around and at the edge of the stickers after opening, especially before sending one to a customer.
They peel up easily and I did place the edge I pulled up back down successfully as it isn’t being stuck to anything right now.
They are a water resistant vinyl and indeed that is what they feel like. They are not super thick which is good so when stuck down on a surface, the edges will not easily fray or peel up.
I am happy with the print quality and the receiving of them. I’ve had delivery issues with 80% of the sticker orders I have made from my previous supplier (not via Printify) so I will be ordering these from now on when I need more, likely a larger order.
I am not sure how feasible it would be to offer them in my Etsy shop as a POD item cost wise as it would be far more financially feasible to order a bulk order and ship to buyers myself. That’s something one would need to look into and work out before listing any.
Custom Shape Magnets. These say they are ok for outdoor use, which I think is why I chose to sample them.
They I guess are similar to the die cut magnets that were already available in the catalogue, which I’ve sampled previously.
I ordered a large one and a small one. Steer skull was 8″x8″ and the Oriole bird is 3″x4″
They printed well! Fine lines printed crisp, all printing is crisp. There is a very fine and faint speckle texture to the print, which is fine. The cut shape is clean and nice.
Ordered Aug 13th, Delivered to me in Canada today.
Shipped in a cardboard envelope, loose.
Shipping for these 2 for me was about $11.38 so not cheap (usual though).
To sell these it would likely be better to order a bunch and ship yourself as even within the US, shipping is not not super cheap, $4.79 to $11.99 for 1st item, .70 to 3.49 for subsequent items. This type of low cost and shipping that is almost the same price, like stickers, are not the most practical POD item if shipping each one directly from the print provider to the buyer.
I included the product costs for reg and Premium account, and the product images (no mockups yet) for my magnets, too.
